Desnudo, careciente, frágil a punto de romperse,
reciente y por ello inmaduro para la vida
y ya maduro para la muerte.
Salido recién
de una boca de misterio, dentro
de la que oyó, voz, aullido,
y desde la que preguntó,
en otra lengua, sin encontrar respuesta:
¿qué es este presentmiento
de agujas, de ojos, de éteres?

Naked, destitute, fragile to the point of breaking,
recent and therefore immature for life
and yet mature for death.
Just come out
of a mysterious mouth, inside
which he heard a voice and howling,
and from where he asks,
in another language, without finding an answer:
what is that foreboding
of needles, eyes, ethers?
