DESCENSODESCENT
Circe Maiatrans. Brian Cole
Abandonados a sí mismos, bajan
retroceden, despacio, en forma
no visible
disimulada.

Marcha verde musgosa creciendo en piedra
madera roída
ojos terrosos
gestos polvorientos.

Abandonados.

Inercia. Peso muerto.
Corriente persistente.
Mansa. Dañina.

Pesado pie. Opaca
palabra. ¿Quién se acerca?
¿Qué llega?

Casi muerte: volver. Desvivirse.
Filo gastado.
Trama desfibrada.

Abandonados.
Abandoned to themselves they go down
they go back, gradually, in a form
not visible,
covertly.

Green moss is growing in the stone
rotting timber
eyes clogged with dirt
dusty expressions.

Abandoned.

Inertia. Dead weight.
A persistent current.
Gentle. Destructive.

A heavy foot. An opaque
word. Who is approaching?
What is coming?

Like death: to return. To be empty of life.
A blunted blade.
A thread without fibres.

Abandoned.
