Berdin da Mendebaldea eta Ekialdea metafisika eta Poesia nahastea. Iraganak ez du deus balio gauza guztiak gastatu eta adioa eta agurra, arrats beherako zaldunak, armadura beltzez janzten direnean. Ezta geroak ere, sexurik ez baitu. Gaua naufrago urbanoa da, ametsak lehorreratzen dira Elkanorengandik ikasitako ibileraz, krepuskuloan gerrarik sinestezinenak gertatzen dira, biziak eta hilak azken tangoa dantzatzen dute ardo botila baten soinupean, eternitatearen besarkada izotzezkoa dela, eta Zientziaren Arbolak sagarrik ez, itzal hurbila baizik, ematen duela jakin gabe. | It makes no difference, mixing West with East metaphysics with poetry. The past is worth little when everything is worn and farewell and goodbye, the horsemen of sundown wear their black armour. And the future is just as bad, sexless thing. Night is an urban shipwreck and dreams disembark at Elcano's leisurely pace. The most unthinkable wars happen at dusk, the dead and the living dance the last tango to the tinkling of bottles of wine. The forgotten deny that the embrace of eternity is ice, and that the Tree of Science harbours only a partial ability to shade, branches tangled with mistletoe, and not a single apple. |
